Supervision Experience
I have had 34 years of professional supervision experience. My one-to-one practice supervising psychotherapists and counsellors began in 1991 and continues to this day. I also run a regular psychodynamic and transpersonal supervision group from my clinic in Oxford. My practice as a Supervisor began with a group of counsellors at the Centre for Health and Healing at St. James’s Church, Piccadilly in central London in the mid 1980’s where I was the Coordinator of Counselling and Education Services. From 1991 to 2000 I was a supervisor and teacher on the psychotherapy training course at the Centre for Transpersonal Psychology in London. I was appointed Director of Professional Development of this UKCP member organisation. In the 1990’s I co-founded The Listening Centre in Blackbird Leys for free and low cost counselling. I was the group supervisor of TLC counsellors for 6 years.
